Stoilenskaya Niva finished the construction of churches in two districts of Belgorodskaya region


The Gala transfer of the two newly constructed churches into the ownership of Belgorodskaya and Starooskolskaya eparchy took place in the past weekend in Krasnogvardeisky and Chernyansky districts of Belgorodsky region. The great consecration of the both churches and the first service were performed by Archbishop Belgorodsky and Starooskolsky Ioann.

In 2008 the Agro-industrial Corporation Stoilenskaya Niva and Belgorodsky and Starooskolsky eparchy entered into an agreement on material assistance, in the framework of which the restoration works and construction of wooden churches n a few districts of Belgorodsky region were planned. Following the recommendations of Belgorodsky eparchy the architectural projects of the churches and highly-experienced construction contractors have been confirmed. Due to the application of the unique ancient technology the wooden churches have gained their outstanding architectural image.

By the end of the churches consecration Archbishop Ioann awarded with the blessed letters of gratitude all the constructors, local administration representatives and top-managers of Stoilenskaya Niva.

Archbishop Belgorodsky and Starooskolsky Ioann: «We consecrated the churches in the name of Holy Trinity and performed the spiritual ascent to the kingdom of heaven, whereas the church is Heaven on Earth».

Agro-industrial Corporation Stoilenskaya Niva consists of 38 enterprises and complexes including agricultural, flour-grinding and bread-baking enterprises of Belgorodskaya, Kurskaya, Voronezhskaya, Smolenskaya, Ivanovskaya, Saratovskaya, Nizhegorodskaya, Penzenskskaya and Yaroslavskaya regions. The corporation occupies the 3d place in flour production volume in Russia, and also is one of the three leaders of bread-baking industry (Rosstat data, IKAR).
